Fujian with Fuzhou as its capital, is a province on the southeast coast of China. Fujian borders Taiwan across the Taiwan Strait. Thanks to its unique location ,Fujian has received significant investment from overseas Fujianese , Taiwanese and foreign investment. It is one of the most culturally and linguistically diverse provinces in China .
The province is mostly mountainous, and is traditionally described to be "Eight parts mountain, one part water, and one part farmland" ，with the famous Wuyi Mountains forming the border between Fujian and Jiangxi. Because of the mountainous landscape, Fujian was the most secluded province of eastern China in the history ,and owes its regional culture as a result .
Except for Wuyi Mountains, Fujian has xiamen as its main tourist cit ,which attracts tourists all over the world with the beautiful scenery . Annually, China International Fair for Investment and Trade is held in Xiamen to promote foreign investment for all of China. |
