Jiangsu ，with its capital in Nanjing ，is a province located along the east coast of the country. With the river Huai He passes through north Jiangsu to reach the Yellow Sea，Jiangsu has a coastline of over 1000 kilometers along the Yellow Sea. Jiangsu is a flat and low-lying place with 68 percent plains area of its total land while water covers another 18 percent.
Jiangsu is endowed with an extensive irrigation system，which earned it the laudatory name of“ShuiXiang”。
Jiangsu Province ，possess the second highest total GDP after Guangdong，is an important spot of China。And it is one of the prosperous area among the provinces of China， where the wealth divide to the rich southern regions and the poor north.
Jiangsu is rich in cultural traditions，not only it is home to Kunqu, silk，tea ，classical gardens and so on ，but also it has lots of scenery or historical relics such as Suzhou, Yangzhou.
