Jinhua is located in the center of Zhejiang Province and is near to the capital city Hangzhou. It won the name as Jinhua since Sui Dynasty and had the city walls built during the time of Mongol Emperors.
The Daoist holy man Immortal Huang is probably the most celebrated men in the history of Jinhua. It is said that Wuyang Shan was turned from a sheep by him. A lot of the tourist attractions in Jinhua are related to Immortal Huang.
Jinhua is doing well in the food industries owning a recognition of tasty Jinhua Ham and is a center for collecting and processing agricultural and forestry products. Besides, Jinhua is developing its economy from the industry aspect including machinery production and electronic equipment manufactory.
You can reach Jinhua directly by trains and cars, or you can choose to fly to the international airport in Yiwu first and take another 30 minutes trip there.
