Kunming
Having a geographical advantage, Kunming is booming as an important trade center of southern part of China. Although enjoying a quiet long history of 2400 years, Kunming made itself outstanding in commercial field starting from 1910.
Since the railway connecting Yunan-Vietnam had been completed in Kunming, it gradually became the center for international trading. Further when the highways were completed, Kunming was linked to Chongqing and Guiyang which foster the economic growth. During the Second Sino-Japanese War, Chongqing was selected as the government for the wartime thus made it a perfect opportunity for Kunming to develop its industries especially the manufacturing fields.
The climate in Kunming is perfect with long, warm and humid summers plus short, cool dry winters. There are lots of natural resources in Kunming too including a huge amount of Phosphorous and salt mines.
Each year, Kunming attracts great deal of tourists to the Green Lake to bird-seeing the Black-Headed gulls from Siberia. Besides, you should better pay a visit to Cuihu Park and Heilongtan and so on and enjoy your happy time with thousands of beautiful flowers there.
