Zhuhai is located in the Pearl River Delta and together with Shenzhen is one of the original Special Economic Zones since 1980s. Bordering the Macau Special Administrative Region, Zhuhai has lots of near-shore islands, some of which are near Hong Kong, connecting by bridges or causeways.
